UMACC Board Members
Alice Hope, President
Alice Hope is the President of UMACC. She is the Marketing Manager for BBC Law, LLP and runs The Agreement Company, a subsidiary for BBC Law. She is the President of the Upper Merion Area School Board of Directors and serves on the Joint Operating Committee of the Central MontCo Technical High School. Alice is one of the founders of UMACC and has served on the board since its inception. Alice lives in King of Prussia with her husband Ryan and has three children, Hannah a Junior at UCLA, Hunter a Junior at Upper Merion and Hudson a 4th grader at Candlebrook Elementary. She is also the Mom to her favorite child, Walter, a Brussels Griffon pup. |

Jenn Lyons, Vice President
Jenn Lyons currently serves as Vice President of UMACC, as well as chairing the organization’s Marketing Committee. She is proud to have been a part of UMACC since its inception. In her professional life, Jenn leads a nationwide team of marketing professionals in her role as Vice President of Marketing at Enlyte. Her heart for community service also led to her to the Upper Merion Area School Board as a School Board Director – At Large. Jenn lives in King of Prussia with her daughter, Stella, and their dogs Archie and Buddha. Jenn enjoys playing the piano, doing crossword puzzles, bird-watching and has been diligently working to improve her fishing skills. |

Kathy Knoebel, Treasurer Kathy has been the Treasurer of the Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard since November 2018, when she retired after owning a small business that developed data analysis and reporting software for the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to serving as Board Treasurer, she is also the Finance Committee Chair and a member of the Fundraising Committee. Kathy lives in King of Prussia with her husband and enjoys babysitting her 2 grandchildren, playing clarinet in the Chester County Concert Band, and riding her bicycle. |

Sonia Fraher, Secretary Sonia is UMACC’s Secretary and also the chair of the Fundraising Committee. Sonia is a Senior Director at Ally Financial, Inc. and first started volunteering at the pantry during the COVID-19 Pandemic. She lives in Wayne with her husband and daughter and enjoys cooking and the outdoors. |

Barbara McElvogue Barbara McElvogue has been the Director of Upper Merion Emergency Aid for the past 25 years. As the Director of UMEA, she was involved in the creation of the cupboard and its efforts to combat food insufficiency. She currently lives in Wayne with her husband. |

Angela Michael, Pantry Manager It’s with immense gratitude and enthusiasm that I step into this role, knowing our pantry’s profound impact on the lives of those in need within our community. As Manager, I am committed to upholding our mission of “Nurturing a Compassionate Community Response to Food Insecurity in the Upper Merion Area.”I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a dedicated team of volunteers and supporters who selflessly contribute their time and effort to make UMACC a beacon of hope for many. Together, we will continue to innovate and expand our services, ensuring that everyone in our community has access to essential resources.Angela has a background in leadership, office management, and, most importantly, a passion for service. Like many of you, she calls Upper Merion Area School District home and has strong ties to this community. She resides in Gulph Mills with her husband, Dennis, and their daughter, Jada. |
