PANTRY ASSISTANT – PART-TIME

- POSITION DETAILS:
- Minimum 12 up to 20 hours/week, total hours negotiable
- Start date negotiable
- Starting at $15/hour, 1099 Position
- Reports to the UMACC Board of Directors
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be onsite Mondays 12pm-4pm (4 hours) to prepare for Monday and Tuesday deliveries.
- Be onsite Tuesdays from 8am-noon and 2pm-6pm (8 hours)
- Finalize and Oversee Tuesday deliveries.
- Assist with on-site distribution to patrons during open hours.
- Once sufficiently trained, oversee Tuesday operations when Coordinator is away.
- Be onsite Thursdays from 9am-5pm (8 hours)
- Pack delivery bags for the following week,
- General straightening-up and restocking the shelves
- Receive delivered orders, Pick up orders with the UMACC van, Process donations
- Other duties as requested by the UMACC Board and/or the UMACC Coordinator
- REQUIREMENTS
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak with kindness and respect to patrons, volunteers, and members of the Board
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Organized and punctual
- Creativity and good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Proficient with email and Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid PA Drivers License (clean driving record a plus), willingness/ability to drive the UMACC van
- Able to lift fifty (50) pounds
- Working Cell Phone
- Spanish speaking a plus!
